Letter from Joan

Have you ever stopped and asked yourself, Am I fulfilling my purpose? What am I doing with my life?

Lately, those questions have been on my mind.

I’ve realized that “I’ll do it someday” is no longer an option. None of us is guaranteed tomorrow. If there’s one lesson age has taught me, it’s that time is precious, and the life we want isn’t waiting somewhere in the future. It’s created by the choices we make today.

But I also know this: my story isn’t over. My dreams still matter, my purpose still matters, and the next chapter is mine to write.

So perhaps the better question isn’t, What am I doing with my life? Perhaps it’s, Who am I becoming?

I want to become a woman who is confident in herself. A woman who no longer waits for the “right time” or tells herself, I’ll do it tomorrow.

I want to trust my own voice, honor the commitments I make to myself, and embrace new challenges with courage instead of hesitation.

I no longer want to wait for permission to live fully.

I’ve earned every wrinkle, every scar, every lesson. My age isn’t a limitation; it’s proof of everything I’ve overcome—and a reminder that I still have so much to give.

So today, I choose:

Action over excuses.

Progress over perfection.

Purpose over fear.

Every morning is another opportunity to begin again.

The woman I am becoming isn’t waiting for life to happen.

She is creating it—one intentional day at a time.

I hope you’ll join me.
